“La vittoria più grande”, chiarisce Maria Spallino , uno dei genitori che hanno presentato il ricorso, “è l’aver dimostrato che fare rete tra le famiglie può davvero cambiare le cose”. E rilancia: “Questo è un primo passo all’interno di un percorso che ci vede impegnati perché i nostri figli camminino a testa alta, a scuola come in ogni momento della loro vita nella società”.
I genitori degli studenti sono stati assistiti nella causa dall’associazione Ledha (Lega per i diritti delle persone con disabilità). “Da oggi le famiglie possono contare su uno strumento legale più rapido ed efficace per far valere i diritti dei loro figli”, spiega Marco Rasconi , presidente di Ledha Milano. “Grazie a questa sentenza – continua Rasconi – ci auguriamo che altre famiglie escano dall’ombra per difendere il diritto dei propri figli alla formazione scolastica e non solo”.
